… travel to new places, go on epic excursions, and CREATE opportunities for yourself and others.
But seriously, how do they make it happen and make it profitable?
Because you’re not doing this for a quick buck, but no lie — it’d be pretty sweet to bring in more income and dial down the stress of constantly searching for new clients.
Getting to adventure with rad couples who are stoked to do life together is THE BEST, right?
You know what sort of content resonates with you, but what makes other photographers immediately add to cart?
You’d be so stoked to bring people together and create the sort of community that gets hyped for each other, all while making a profit that relieves the pressure of constantly answering every “ISO Photographer” post online. But wanting it and doing it are two totally different trails, right?
You’re dedicating your time and energy (precious resources, dudes) to your business. How the heck do you even add hosting duties?
How can you even consider learning how to host events when your follower count hasn’t cracked 10K?
Launching your own events sounds great … as soon you figure out how to add more hours in the day.
And the big one — especially for all you who’ve tried hosting events before — turning hard-ass work into profit is like advanced math.
I launched my very first retreat with only 1,200 followers, no website and no email list.
I sold out at 16 tickets and profited $25,000.
And that was just the beginning. When I launched my latest retreat, I broke $100K in ticket sales.
For ONE retreat. And I did it all following the strategies and using the tools I’ll teach you.
You just need the right tools, the right support, and the creative thinking.
(And hey, we all know you’ve got creative thinking on lock.)
When the wedding leads slow, you’re not sweating it, because you’ve got a retreat coming up that sold out in days and already paid for itself.
Your hosted workshops have doubled your income, so you can say yes to that extra vacation or taking time off without feeling guilty.
In fact, you’ve found that hosting events has become an entirely new passion that fills up the creative well just as much as weddings.
Thanks to systemizing & streamlining the process, successful launches come easily.
And when you’re amped to work in an epic new location, you know exactly how to launch styled shoots to bring in the couples you want.

I’m an adventure elopement photographer who decided to look beyond the lens of my camera to create new income streams for my business.
Which is just a bunch of business-speak for: I’ve made bank through hosting events and built a supportive community too.
Wanna see some hard numbers?? Since becoming an event host 6 years ago, I’ve —
Hosted 17 multi-day retreats both here in the U.S. and at cool locations across the globe
Hosted 22 content days in 14 National Parks
Mentored 500+ photographers (!!!)
Brought in an extra $2.7M in revenue
Becoming an event host has allowed me to work in epic locations, with amazing people, all while continuing to chase my love of adventure elopements without the pressure to constantly hustle.
Have there been some flops? Yeah, I’ve hosted content days that didn’t profit much or reach the right audience. But I learned from those mistakes so you don’t have to.
And now I’m sharing all my experience with you as a live coach.
You tried putting on an event before and it lost money, so this must not work for you
Ugh, I get it. Planning a cool AF event that doesn’t actually reach the right people sucks. That’s why I created this program — to give you the tools and support to launch successfully as soon as you hit send.
You already know how to source vendors and scout locations — event hosted, right?
That’s awesome! Buuuut, 90% of successful hosting is less about the epic details and more about strategizing the launch. And if you’re reading this like, “wait, how do I even source vendors?!?”… I gotchu - See my Styled Shoot Field Guide Here
Each week we will have a scheduled group zoom call where we will dive-deep into that week's topics. This is a live lesson --> meaning it will be entirely catered to your business. It will offer real-time accountability and direct support. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and directly apply yourself. The call calendar will be sent out upon registering for Learn to Host. If you can't make the call live, the recording will be provided for you.
You'll have access to our VIP Slack Support Group for Learn to Host members only. This is where you'll submit homework for review, ask any questions in-between weekly calls and have me as your accountability partner. This is far beyond a facebook group, it is an organized communication system to keep you on track and on top of your milestone goals.
At the end of each live lesson, you'll be assigned weekly homework and tasks. These assignments will incentive you to get the work done & put into action what we discussed during that week's lesson. This homework will offer an opportunity for reviews & feedback.
Together, we’ll walk through an exact launch strategy from building an audience, understanding when and how to sell, utilizing paid ads & email marketing mixed with organic reach. We will build an intentional strategy on how to set yourself up for profitability, success and selling out your event.
You will have a ready-to-launch plan for your event by the end of our program. That may be a workshop, retreat, content day or styled shoot — what your event looks like is up to you. This is my guarantee to you and a sure-fire way to make back the investment into Learn to Host.
After completing the Sales Copy Bootcamp, I’ll personally work with you 1:1 to audit your full sales page copy. The goal of your sales page is to have a high performing page that converts leads into bookings. This is a key component of your launch success.
Because I'm a numbers-and-hard-proof kinda gal (and I bet you are too). Not only do the strategies that I teach in Learn to Host helped get my own retreat-hosting business to where it is today, but it's already helped several other hosts! I launched a trial-run of this coaching program to select students before launching to the public, and now I have some hard-proof from past student that this sh*t WORKS!
Getting coached on how to strategically launch a retreat and sell-out was hands-down my BEST BUSINESS INVESTMENT. If you would have told me 6 months ago that I would be making multiple tens of thousands of dollars for hosting only one retreat, I never would have believed you. Kasey taught me actual strategies, marketing methods, sales techniques and processes on how to actually market, launch and profit off of a retreat.
Admittedly, I have tried to host a content day in the past. I went into it with no idea how to actually sell tickets, or budget, or any of the things that you don't think about. I just pulled images off of Pinterest, put together a mood board on Canva, found a cool venue/vendors/models and posted it to some Styled Shoot Facebook Groups. I sold 4 tickets and LOST money. I ended up paying vendors out of pocket at the end of the shoot, and truthfully I don't think I would've tried again if it weren’t for this program.
I am thankful to have a coach to guide me through the process of launching a very successful profitable retreat. I have an entire new passion for hosting and am very excited to lean into it more this coming year. I no longer feel like I have to strive to book out a full year of weddings, and I get to explore new places with new friends and MAKE money while doing it!
If you have any interest at all in building a business hosting your own retreats, content days, workshops or whatever it looks like to you - this is what you NEED! Don't assume that you know how to successfully sell ticketed events like I did, these are entirely different marketing practices than what I was used to with my photography business, and I honestly wouldn't have been able to do it without Learn to Host!

All calls will be recorded & sent out to all students! So if you can’t make it live - you can still re-watch and chime in on Slack for any questions!
It’s my mission to keep you on-track and be your accountability partner (and that’s why I have the weeks broken up into different topics with assigned homework/to-do’s). I understand that life can get in the way - you’ll always have access to the live recordings and can continue to work on it after the program is finished! If you need 1:1 coaching beyond the 12-weeks – that is something I offer to my students as well!
As soon as you enroll in Learn to Host, you will receive the “Welcome to the Academy!” email. This email will contain all of the information for our weekly call schedule, access to Slack, and everything you need moving forward!
Plan for a minimum of 5 hours/week. My biggest piece of advice - you get out of it what you can put into it! I created the curriculum to be as time-efficient as possible, but ensuring that we are going to dive-deep into each topic (no fluff here!). Logistically, plan for a 1-2 hour coaching call for each module each week. Beyond that, I would set aside 3 additional hours each week to work on the “homework” and tasks at hand, and time to analyze my feedback. The more time you put into working on your business now, the more results you will see!
Well then, you sound like the perfect fit for this program! I will walk you through step-by-step everything you need to know to build your brand as an event-host and create the right type of audience! I will walk you through the exact process building your hosting business from the ground up - whether you've hosted previously or not!
This is entirely different from an online course. This is LIVE teaching, with real world accountability and support to answer any questions and guide you through the process. I personally have invested tens of thousands into online courses - and it wasn’t until I hired a coach when I truly took action.
Yes - 100%! This program is entirely different from The Intensive. In this program, you are learning how to build, market and launch an event (content day, retreat, workshop, etc.) In The Intensive, you are learning how to scale your elopement photography business. This program serves an entirely different purpose!
Of course! My DMs are open to you (@elopeacademy) - or you can fill out the contact form here (but i prefer insta DM)!
